About Friends of Willow Creek

OUR MISSION

Mission Statement

Friends of Willow Creek works to restore, enhance, and steward Willow Creek as a thriving natural waterway and community resource. Through habitat restoration, environmental education, and community engagement, we aim to reconnect people with nature while preserving this unique creek corridor for generations to come.

Vision Statement

We envision a future where Willow Creek once again flows openly through Sausalito as a healthy, vibrant ecosystem and gathering place for the community. A place where children can explore nature, wildlife can flourish, and residents can experience the sights and sounds of a living creek.

By bringing Willow Creek back into the light, we can restore an important piece of Sausalito’s natural heritage while creating opportunities for learning, stewardship, and connection.
